Position Summary

St. Anthony Catholic High School is seeking a Head Boys Lacrosse Coach. The Lacrosse coach will assume all responsibility for growing our Lacrosse team into a competitive program.

Description of Job Duties

Attend all practices; create a game and practice schedule; conduct pre-season parent meetings and pre & post season team meetings. Must film all games and hold film session with team.

Responsible for maintaining and balancing the budget.

Description of Job Duties

Responsible for at least three (3) fundraising events throughout the year.

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

This person must have the knowledge to teach both the offensive and defensive skills necessary to field a competitive team; the knowledge of multiple alignments and how to guard and attack them.
Must be able to communicate with both students and parents effectively.

Required Education

High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Required Work Experience

Minimum of 2 years high school experience or 5 years in u16 or higher level on the club circuit.

Preferred Qualifications

The minimum playing qualification is the applicant will have played competitive Lacrosse at the high school level; preferred to have played collegiate.
Bachelor Degree is preferred.

Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations

Applicant must have a CDL or obtain one prior to season starting. Must be insurable through UIW’s insurance carrier.

Work Hours

During the season practice times will be from 3:30-5:30 or 4:00-6:00pm every Monday-Friday. Weekend games + tournaments during the season (Saturday, not Sunday).

Physical Demands

- Carry up to a 25lb bags.
- Able to run up and down field to coach/teach
kids situation(s)
- Able to drive bus to/from the games
