Incarnate Word HS is an all-girls Catholic college preparatory school with a student body of approximately 500 students is seeking substitute teachers.

Description of Job Duties

The substitute teacher will cover classes and lunch duty as needed. School hours for faculty are 7:45 am-3:45 pm. Depending on the length of substitution, teachers will be asked to plan, grade, and perform other tasks associated with teaching a class as needed.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Able to collaborate with others within the department. Flexible schedule. Provide assistance to students with differing learning styles.

Required Education

High School Diploma

Required Work Experience

Experience in working with high school aged-girls

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous experience working in high school
