Position Summary

Part-time faculty for the Doctor of Business Administration in the School of Professional Studies will be asked to teach business courses as assigned, and other duties as directed.

Essential Functions

Part-time faculty for the Doctor of Business Administration in the School of Professional Studies will be asked to teach business courses as assigned, and other duties as directed. Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, scholarship, service and professional activities. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities

An intrinsic excitement about teaching and interaction with students is highly valued at UIW. Successful applicants must be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Be a researcher with proven track record.
Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Required Education

Earned doctorate in management, administration, or another doctorate with at least 18 hours in the discipline.

Required Work Experience

Integral to high quality instruction is scholarship related to the candidate’s teaching. Experience teaching at the university graduate or doctoral levels. Experience with curriculum development. Experience teaching in both classroom and online environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Background and/or interest in a field related to the strategic initiatives for the School of Professional Studies is a plus.

Dissertation committee experience and mentoring of doctoral level students.
